If your team captain has already created your team, you’re just a few steps away from being officially part of the HotHands 3x3 League!

When completing your registration, simply select or enter the exact team name your captain provided. This ensures you’re added to the correct roster. You won’t need to pay the deposit again — your captain’s payment secures your team’s spot.

Each player must still complete their individual registration form to confirm their participation, pay their registration fee balance, sign the waiver, and provide jersey sizing information.

Here’s what you need to know:

Venue: All North Calgary League games will be played at the state of the art Vivo Indoor Gym located at 11950 Country Village Link NE, Calgary, AB T3K 6E3. 

All South Calgary games will be played at MNP Center located at 2225 Macleod Trl SE, Calgary, AB T2G 5B6. 

Any changes of venue will be communicated with sufficient notice.

Season:
Full Winter Season — Players have the choice to register to play on week nights with the time slot window of 7pm - 11pm or weekends 1pm - 4pm or 5pm to 10pm on scheduled game days (you can choose to play in North Calgary or South Calgary). A detailed schedule will be shared before the season tips off. Games will run for up to 8 weeks with teams playing 2 games on every game day. Games are 15 minutes long. Playoffs begin after week 8 in a knockout style.

Team Placement for Free Agents: Once you register, players are assigned to teams based on skill level, division, and availability. We aim to create balanced, competitive, and fun teams for every participant. While we try to accommodate requests, final placements are at the league’s discretion to ensure fair play and enjoyable games for all.

The League currently consists of the following division

Adult Men’s Division

(40+) Low-Intensity Play
Designed for older players who want a relaxed, enjoyable experience. Perfect for men who prefer clean, controlled games without aggressive play. Great for staying active while keeping it fun and safe.

Adult Recreational (18+) Fun & Casual
A welcoming group for adults who are new to the sport or want to build their fundamentals. Focus on learning rules, improving skills, and gaining confidence in a supportive environment.

Adult Elite (18+) Competitive & Fast
For players who want a fast-paced, high-intensity game. Open to all 18+ adults. Expect strong competition, athletic play, and an energetic atmosphere.

Teen Boys Division

Teen Recreational (14–17) Fun & Casual
Designed for teens who want to enjoy the game at a slower pace, sharpen core skills, and play in a friendly, supportive environment.

Teen Elite (14 - 17) Competitive & Fast
Built for teens who want to play hard, push themselves, and compete at a serious level. High energy, high intensity — come ready.

Registration

Each player pays the same individual rate of $290. This covers your official HotHands 3x3 jersey set (top + shorts), a welcome pack with exclusive HotHands Basketball merchandise, and access to all regular season games and playoffs where applicable.

Player Gear:
Every registered player receives a HotHands 3x3 Welcome Pack, including your jersey, shorts, and some cool league merch to get you game-ready.

Team Placement:
Once registration closes, free agents will be grouped into balanced teams based on age, position, and experience level. You’ll receive your team name, roster, and first game schedule ahead of the season start.
